Marsco Architecture is a building design practice based at 20 Morris Street, Palmerston North 4410, New Zealand. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles.

When you contact us through the enquiry form, by email or by phone, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us about your project. We do not collect more than we need to respond to you.

Like most websites, we also collect limited, non-identifying analytics data (such as pages visited and general location) to understand how the site is used. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to discuss and deliver design work you ask us to do, and to keep in touch about your project. We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing you have not asked for.

We only share your information where it is necessary to do the work or where the law requires it: for example with a structural engineer or other consultant on your project, or with your local council as part of a building consent. We use trusted service providers (such as our email delivery and hosting providers) who process data on our behalf under their own privacy obligations.

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and to hold it only as long as we need it. Our website runs over HTTPS, and enquiry data is handled through secure, access-controlled services.

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. To make a request, or if you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
